Following new guidance as of the 8th March we will continue to offer wrap around care before and after school to ensure that families can access work, study or look for work. These are ran internally to ensure that we are able to maintain our social bubbles.
We are currently under consultation for the wrap around offer available from September. All families within school have been sent the information about how we hope to extend this provision.
Our breakfast club and afterschool club will be ran by team members within school bubbles to limit the current infection risk. All children who attend the school are able to attend .
Breakfast club will run from 7:45 am until the opening of each pod. Children will be fed a healthy breakfast of toast, cereal, yoghurt and fruit. Each bubble group will have their own area and staff member to ensure social distancing from other groups.
Sessions will be £5 each and must be booked in advance via ParentMail shop. Children who are not booked will be unable to attend the sessions.
We will have 3 after school clubs available for the various bubbles. Year R and Year 1 , Y5/6 and Year 2 and Year 3 and Year 4.
These clubs will have a daily focus activity for the evening including sport, art and games.
Each group is ran by a member of the team from that bubble to avoid risk of contamination.
A small snack and a drink will be provided.
Sessions run from the closure of the bubble (3:00-3:15) until 4:30.
Sessions will be £5.50 and must be booked in advance via ParentMail shop. Children who are not booked in will be unable to attend the sessions.
Each term we review the offer. This is published on Parentmail. Currently the offer includes football, ball games, cookery, craft, movie club. STEM club, table tennis and a general free play session.
