Teachers’ strong subject knowledge, especially in English and mathematics, lends them confidence and credibility. They combine this knowledge with their honed craft of asking well-chosen questions to check and deepen pupils’ understanding, and help pupils remember and recall important learning points. You can see that we were 10% higher than the LA average for level 4 achievement in our last set of data. This shows the improvements that the school have made and how we are very clearly having an impact on pupil progress.

This year we have no end of year data available as nationally this did not take place.

PHONICS CHECK

We complete the Phonics check and are happy that we have a 96% pass mark in 2023.
